Greetings!
My name is Sergey, I’m 21 and for the last 3,5 years I’ve been doing marketing and graphic design with my small team in Kyiv.
When I was a kid I was dreaming about writing movie scenarios, but there weren’t enough productions in Ukraine, so I figured out how to use my artistic approach in advertisements. Crafting a narrative in marketing felt akin to scripting, as I designed paths to hold attention, evoke emotions, and, ultimately, tell a compelling story to a customer.
I prefer spending my free time doing physical activities and talking to interesting people. I like to think that it broadens my horizons. On my leg days I like to go clubbing.
Main abilities:
-
I have a vivid creative mind. I never freeze in front of a blank page
-
I can write speeches, effective presentations, creative texts and poems
-
I am able to hear, understand and formulate client's words into understandable tasks
-
I know how to work in team and make sure that the project is going in the chosen way
Soft skills:
-
I am responsible and always try my best to finish what I start
-
I'm flexible and a quick learner
-
I'm empathetic and can keep my team motivated
-
In crisis situations I'll be the last one to panic
*My superpower is that I know how to work with sophisticated clients who don't know what they want
Some of the projects I have involved in:
DCA x Boryspil airport
DCA is a consulting company that adapts public areas to the needs of neuro-divergent people. At the time they were working on Boryspil international airport in Kyiv
We illustrated special navigation maps, communication cards, more then 40 instructions and designed a 2 hour-long presentation that was used in staff training.
Tut bude is one of my first and most loved projects. Investor simultaneously hired 3 different teams to work on it, including the biggest Ukrainian creative agency Fedoriv.
This competition lasted for 6+ months until I offered the client to open the first cafe with a sign saying "тут буде.." which means “here will be..” in Ukrainian. The same day the idea was accepted as a final name which gave me a crazy confidence boost
I was then involved in the brand launch, contributing to the development of event marketing and social media strategy.
Tut bude (specialty coffee place)
Kovalska is a large development company and also one of the biggest manufacturers of concrete in Ukraine. They couldn’t stop graffiti artists from bombing their freight wagons, so one day they decided to openly permit them to do it. This book is made in collaboration with presumably the biggest Ukrainian graffitist RUBAE and features 130 photos of his works made on Kovalska’s wagons.
It was extremely challenging to reconcile artistic vision of a hardcore graffiti writer with opinions of managers from a monstrous corporate structure.

I hope I will become of use to you
